Premier League 2026/27:
The Premier League has officially welcomed the 2026/27 season, with the annual transition between campaigns now complete.
Following promotion from the Championship, Coventry City, Ipswich Town and Hull City are officially Premier League clubs and will compete in England's top flight this season. They replace Wolverhampton Wanderers, Burnleyand West Ham United, who were relegated at the end of the 2025/26 campaign.
As part of the Premier League's Annual General Meeting (AGM), the league's membership was formally updated. The relegated clubs returned their Premier League share certificates, which were cancelled by the league, before new share certificates were issued to the three promoted sides. The clubs have now been entered into the Premier League share register, officially confirming their place in the 2026/27 competition.
