It was quite a night for a group of Coolbet bettors on Thursday, with five winning betting slips producing returns ranging from just over 5,000 kr to almost 90,000 kr.
And there was no single formula behind the success. One bettor relied almost entirely on goals in an eight-selection system bet, another landed an eight-fold spanning competitions on three continents, while a 100 kr four-fold produced a return of more than 15,000 kr after backing four straight away winners.
Another three-selection combo, meanwhile, turned €100 into €3,442.67. Here are five of the winning tickets that caught our eye.
5,600 Kr System Bet Returns 89,479.24 Kr
The biggest payout of the five came from a system bet built around eight matches, with the bettor staking 5,600 kr across 28 six-fold combinations. The ticket carried total odds of 17.45 and eventually returned a huge 89,479.24 kr. Seven of the eight selections were based on over 2.5 goals or both teams scoring:

The remarkable thing is just how comfortably most of the goals selections landed. Six of the eight matches produced at least four goals, while Manchester City and Juventus both contributed 5-0 victories. The result was a return of 89,479.24 kr from the 5,600 kr system stake.
€100 Becomes €3,442.67 With Three South American Picks
The second ticket could hardly have been more different. Just three selections were required, but with combined odds of 34.43, a €100 stake returned €3,442.67. The bettor started with LDU Quito to beat Palmeiras at 5.50, and the Ecuadorian side delivered a 3-2 victory.
Next came a 2.63-priced draw between Independiente Rivadavia and Atlético Tucumán, which finished 1-1. The final selection was Atlético Mineiro to qualify against Santos at 2.38. A 4-2 result completed the three-selection combo. Three selections, three very different markets and a return worth more than 34 times the original stake.
100 Kr Four-Fold Lands at Massive Odds of 152.98
If we’re looking purely at the odds, this may be the most eye-catching ticket of the five. A bettor put just 100 kr on four match-result selections:
Union Saint-Gilloise to beat Viktoria Plzen at 2.80 was the first winner, with the Belgian side cruising to a 3-0 victory.
Then came the selection that transformed the ticket: União Torreense at 5.35 away to Lillestrøm. The Portuguese visitors won 2-1. Red Bull Salzburg at 2.15 followed with a 1-0 away victory against Levski Sofia. That left Ferencvárosi at 4.75 away to Celtic. They didn’t merely win – they came away with a 3-1 victory. Multiply those four prices together and the result is enormous: total odds of 152.98. The 100 kr stake returned 15,298.33 kr.
Eight Winners Across Three Continents Turn 200 Kr Into 28,807.68 Kr
The fourth ticket was the most geographically ambitious of the collection. Eight selections covered European football alongside matches in the United States, Bolivia and Brazil. The bettor backed:
Real Betis at 1.68, Hartford Athletic at 1.50, Always Ready at 2.25, Red Bull Salzburg as an early winner at 2.30, Crystal Palace as an early winner at 1.38, Union Saint-Gilloise as an early winner at 2.53, Inter Miami at 1.85 and Botafogo as an early winner at 1.71.
Every selection delivered. The combined odds reached 144.04, turning a relatively modest 200 kr stake into 28,807.68 kr.
It is also a good example of how the early-win market can change the character of a combo. Three of the eight selections used that market rather than relying solely on the final match result.
40 Kr Turns Into 5,147.35 Kr
The smallest stake among the kr-denominated tickets was just 40 kr. The bettor needed six selections to land at combined odds of 128.68.
Bournemouth’s 2-1 victory at Real Sociedad provided a winning both teams to score selection at 1.52, before Salzburg’s 1-0 victory against Levski landed Salzburg and under 4.5 goals at 2.73.
Union Saint-Gilloise’s 3-0 victory was backed at 2.80, while Ferencvárosi’s 3-1 win at Celtic landed a double chance and both teams to score selection at 2.90.
Manchester City’s 5-0 win against Norwich delivered a three-way handicap selection of Manchester City -2 at 2.11. Finally, Real Betis’ 1-0 victory against Getafe was enough for Betis and under 4.5 goals at 1.81. Six winners at total odds of 128.68 meant the original 40 kr stake became 5,147.35 kr.
